What You'll Do:
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the sterile field in the Operating Room
  • Perform scrub duties in multiple specialty areas including Transplants, Open Heart, Urology, Neurology, Robotics, and more (proficiency preferred)
  • Set up operating rooms with instruments, supplies, and equipment according to case needs
  • Pass instruments and sutures to surgeons, maintaining aseptic techniques
  • Transport patients to and from the OR, ensuring comfort and safety
  • Identify and care for biological specimens
  • Support team efforts in maintaining a safe, sterile environment consistent with hospital standards
  • Adapt patient care activities to meet the individual needs of diverse patient populations
  • Collaborate with OR staff and physicians to ensure smooth surgical procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned


What You Need:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology or LVN/LPN program
  • Current BLS certification from AHA
  • 2+ years of experience in surgical technology (preferred)
  • Ability to scrub in multiple specialty areas (highly preferred)
  • Strong team-oriented attitude and attention to detail
