What You’ll Do:
  • Assist in preparing the operating room for various surgical cases, including transplants, open heart, urology, neurology, robotics, and more
  • Proficiently scrub in multiple specialty areas, supporting complex procedures
  • Maintain sterile fields, pass instruments, and assist physicians during surgeries
  • Prepare and set up OR supplies, instruments, and equipment as per case requirements
  • Handle biological specimens and ensure proper documentation
  • Adhere to aseptic techniques and OR protocols to ensure patient safety
  • Support team efforts in facility sanitation, traffic control, and equipment sterilization
  • Monitor and uphold safety standards, including Universal Barrier Precautions
  • Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to provide optimal patient care
  • Perform duties in accordance with hospital policies and local/state regulations


What You Need:
  • Required:
    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Completion of Surgical Technology or accredited LVN/LPN program
    • BLS certification from AHA
  • Preferred:
    • 2+ years of surgical technology experience
    • Ability to scrub in multiple surgical specialties
    • Current LVN/LPN license or Surgical Tech certification within 180 days
