Required Skills:
- Valid RN license in New Mexico or a current Compact state license
- BLS Certification via AHA
- ACLS Certification via AHA
- Excellent clinical judgment and independence in a surgical setting
- Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Willingness to float to the Main campus as staffing needs dictate
- Flexibility to work 4 x 10-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience in Operating Room or Surgical settings
- Knowledge of perioperative protocols and procedures
- Ability to provide patient and family education
- Experience with complex case management
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience in surgery or perioperative care
Other Requirements:
- Start date: May 18, 2026
- Willingness to float between assigned locations and possibly provide call coverage on a volunteer basis
- No weekend requirement; on-call beyond scheduled hours is not mandatory but may be advantageous
- Travel & licensure reimbursements provided when applicable
