What You’ll Do

• Prepare the cath lab and operate essential imaging and hemodynamic equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital image acquisition
• Ensure sterile technique and patient safety during procedures
• Document patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and assist medical team during interventions
• Support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance for procedures involving IVUS, ICE, contrast injectors, and more
• Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray use and support teamwork and patient care continuity
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and site management
• Collaborate with physicians and team members to optimize patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

What You Need

• Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology school or healthcare-related program
• BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS if working independently at pediatric facilities)
• 0-1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
• State licensure as required by New Mexico: RRT or FUS by MIRTP NMED
• Key skills include attention to detail, teamwork, patient safety focus, and equipment proficiency
