Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English language and literature, with the ability to inspire students to develop their writing and critical thinking skills. Responsibilities

Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards and fosters student engagement. Utilize various teaching methodologies, including traditional instruction, collaborative learning, and technology-enhanced learning. Create lesson plans that incorporate diverse literary works and writing styles, including creative writing and journalism. Assess student progress through standardized testing, classroom assessments, and individualized feedback. Provide mentorship and academic advising to students, promoting literacy education and effective study habits. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a conducive learning environment. Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and best practices in teaching English. Collaborate with colleagues on instructional design and curriculum development initiatives. Experience

Proven experience in teaching English or related subjects at the secondary or higher education level. Familiarity with curriculum development processes and instructional design principles. Strong understanding of various writing styles, including AP style, Chicago Manual of Style, and copy editing. Experience working with diverse student populations, including special education needs. Background in mentoring students or tutoring in English language skills is highly desirable. Knowledge of learning technology tools that enhance classroom instruction. Excellent communication, organizational, and research skills are essential for success in this role. Experience in education administration or public school settings is a plus.
