POSITION: 5th/6th STEAM Teacher - Part-Time (2 classes per day) STARTING DATE: 2026/2027 School Year

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

SALARY: Per SEA Contract

QUALIFICATIONS:

1) Elementary K-8 All Subjects or Upper Elementary Education

2) Highly qualified status to meet state and federal requirements.

3) Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.

2) Plans and delivers engaging STEAM lessons for 5th and 6th grade students.

3) Provide hands-on, project-based learning experiences that connect science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.

4) Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to engage and explore new ideas.

5) Integrate technology and real-world applications into instruction when appropriate.

6) Collaborate with classroom teachers to support cross-curricular learning and student success.

7) Establish clear classroom expectations and maintain a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment.

8) Assess student learning and use feedback to guide instruction.

9) Participate as a contributing member of the school community.

10) Punctual, reliable, and predictable attendance is required

11) Other duties as assigned.
