The Anna L. Klein School is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable 5th Grade Middle School Math/Science Teacher to join our middle school team. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity and a love of mathematics and science while helping students build strong problem-solving skills and a solid foundation in key mathematical/ science concepts.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement engaging math lessons aligned with NJ Student Learning Standards
• Use hands-on activities, real-world applications, and technology to enhance instruction
• Assess student understanding and adjust instruction to support diverse learning needs
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
• Participate in team meetings, school events, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field
• Valid New Jersey Teaching Certificate (Elementary School K-6, preferred with Mathematics Subject Matter Specialization Grades 58 or Science Subject Matter Specialization Grades 5-8)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and engaging middle school students in mathematics and science
