About Whitnall School District
Whitnall is a district on the rise. With strong community backing, as shown by our recently approved referendum, we are entering an exciting phase of facility enhancements, learning environment upgrades, and programmatic improvements. Much of this work begins this spring, setting the stage for a transformed school experience in the years ahead.
Additionally, Whitnall has launched a new strategic plan that provides clear priorities for student learning, instruction, culture, engagement, and operational excellence. Whitnall is a unique school district that is proud to serve approximately 2,500 students in the Village of Hales Corners, part of the City of Greenfield, and part of the City of Franklin. The Whitnall School District is seeking an educator for a full-time position starting in the 2026-27 school year. The selected candidate will teach 5th grade specializing in math, science, and social studies instruction at Hales Corners Elementary School.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create a classroom environment that fosters innovation, risk-taking, and exploration.
Identify students' interests, needs and perceptions to enhance students' strengths.
Support and reinforce individual student learning styles to achieve consistently high expectations.
Engage in open and timely communication with students, families, and staff on various topics.
Employ positive techniques and strategies which encourage and/or strengthen student productive behavior.
Active involvement in professional learning opportunities; study/implement current/emerging instructional best practices.
