The Two Rivers Public School District is seeking qualified applicants for the position of 5th grade teacher to join a collaborative and innovative team of educators at L.B. Clarke Middle School who are focused on creating systems and supports to ensure high levels of learning for all students, no exceptions. This position entails teaching all core subjects, as our 5th grade works closely as a team and operates in an elementary homeroom model.

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
Differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of students, including those with varying academic abilities and backgrounds.
Utilize effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Establish effective rapport and build strong relationships with students.
Develop positive relationships and engage in open communication with parents and families.
Communicate proactively and effectively with other teachers, support staff, and administrators.
Collaborate with colleagues, including special education teachers, to provide a range of academic and social-emotional support to students in inclusive classroom settings.
Serve as a teacher in support of all learners and co-plan to co-serve with teams of teachers in inclusive classroom settings.
Monitor students' academic and behavioral progress (through data collection and analysis) to guide instructional decisions. Monitor and address IEP goals as necessary.
Stay engaged with educational trends, research, and best practices to continuously improve teaching methods and student outcomes.
Serve as a positive role model for students, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a passion for lifelong learning.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a valid Wisconsin certification to teach 5th grade in Wisconsin.
Strong knowledge of subject matter content, instructional strategies, and educational pedagogy.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute positively to a professional learning community.
Ability to use technology in support of learning and instruction.
