Job Description:
· This position plays a key role in the design, development and troubleshooting, and debug software systems, contributing to both enhancements and the creation of new product offerings.
· Lead end-to-end development of complex software concepts, from initial design through to deployment.
· Plan, execute, and validate systems programming tests, including the integration of interfacing and software tests.
· Provide mentorship and support to junior team members, fostering professional growth and technical proficiency.
· Research and integrate emerging technologies to enhance application capabilities.
· Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures.
· Perform other duties as required.
· This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN and candidates must live within a 50-mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning that employees will be required to work at a FedEx office location up to several times per week.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other quantitative discipline plus 1 year of experience in the job offered or 1 year of experience in information technology or engineering environment. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent* in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or other quantitative discipline plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in information technology or engineering environment in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 1 year of experience.
The position requires experience with:
· ServiceNow Mobile Application development;
· ServiceNow Catalog development;
· ServiceNow Platform administration, reliability, and monitoring;
· ServiceNow Reporting &Analytics;
· AGILE development.
· Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast paced, dynamic environments.
· Strong leadership, customer and people development skills.
· Strong problem solving, project management and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
