We are seeking a Design & Analysis Engineer to support aircraft network systems engineering for a commercial airplane program. In this role, you will help design, develop, implement, and maintain software and network systems used within complex aircraft electrical architectures.
The engineer will work across the entire aircraft lifecycle—from concept and requirements definition through certification, production support, and operational service. The role includes developing system requirements, designing software and interface specifications, validating designs through testing, and supporting aircraft production programs.
This position is 100% onsite in Everett, WA.
Develop and document electronic and electrical system requirements
Design software and interface specifications for aircraft network systems
Translate customer and operational requirements into system architectures
Support 787 aircraft network systems design and production support
Perform system testing and validation to ensure operational requirements are met
Develop scripts to support automated testing and analysis
Maintain configuration matrices for aircraft network system architectures
Support engineering releases for airplane configuration and options
Assist with airplane installation design and certification activities
Work with airline customers to understand operational use of network systems
Troubleshoot and resolve software and system issues across the aircraft lifecycle
Monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with system integration requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
1–3 years of software engineering or systems engineering experience
Understanding of software development processes and documentation
Experience supporting testing, validation, or system integration activities
Experience with Python scripting
Experience with ENOVIA PDM or product data management tools
Experience working with aircraft systems, avionics, or network systems
Exposure to aircraft certification or production engineering environments
Onsite role supporting aircraft engineering and production teams
Collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier teams
Work supporting aircraft production programs and testing environments
Overtime may occur occasionally (typically 1–2 hours per week on a voluntary basis)
Must meet U.S. export compliance requirements
Interviews will be conducted via phone or Microsoft Teams (15–30 minutes)
