Job Requirements

• Worker must possess 2 months of previous tree fruit experience.
• Must anticipate being available to work the entire contract period.
• Drug Screen
• Have a valid driver license. At times may have to drive farm tractors and equipment on city roads.
• Must be able to lift and/or load 60lbs.
• Work may take place when temperatures are below freezing and above 100 degrees Fahrenheit.
• May require extensive pulling and/or pushing of tools, wheelbarrows, fruit containers, etc.
• May require worker to sit and/or walk for extensive periods of time while sorting, picking, examining, weeding, transporting, pruning, etc.
• Workers will be required to stoop and/or bend over while performing farm labor such as weeding, irrigating, pruning, picking, removing debris, etc.
• There will be repetitive movements while performing most of the farm labor duties, for example picking, sorting, pruning, shoveling, weeding, etc.

The employer will furnish, without charge, tools, supplies and protective equipment required to perform  the  specified  work.

• Puede requerir el uso intensivo de herramientas, carretillas, contenedores de fruta, etc., que impliquen tirar y/o empujar.
• Puede requerir que el trabajador permanezca sentado y/o caminando durante largos períodos de tiempo mientras clasifica, recolecta, examina, deshierba, transporta, poda, etc.
• Los trabajadores deberán agacharse y/o inclinarse mientras realizan labores agrícolas como deshierbar, irrigar, podar, recolectar, retirar escombros, etc.
• Se realizarán movimientos repetitivos durante la mayor parte de las tareas agrícolas, por ejemplo, recolectar, clasificar, podar, palear, deshierbar, etc.

Hourly wage is $17.13.The payroll period shall be weekly.

Period of Employment

Employer guarantees to offer employment for the hourly equivalent of 3/4 or 75% of the workdays of the work contract beginning with the first day of work. Employer will accept referrals until  8/8/2026

Work Schedule
7 hours per day Monday to Friday. It is the prevailing practice to work more or different hours than those listed. The worker may be offered, but not required, to work more  hours.

Transportation
The Employer will offer transportation to and from employer provided housing to the work site, at no cost to workers who qualify. The workers will be picked up at the housing locations; the time of pick-up depends on variable factors, such as weather, field location, job duties, etc.

Housing

Employer agrees to provide for or secure housing for  workers and those workers in corresponding employment who are not reasonably able to return to their residence at the end of the workday. That housing complies with the applicable local, State, or Federal standards and is sufficient to house the specified number of workers requested through the clearance system. The employer will provide the housing without charge to the worker. Housing is only available to non-local workers (permanent residence outside normal commuting distance) and is not offered to non-working family members. Employer possesses and controls premises at all times. Female workers will be provided bedroom and bathroom facilities shared only with other female workers. Common areas of the housing may be shared with male workers

Employer agrees to furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities to the workers that will enable the workers to prepare their meals. Where the employer provides the meals, the job offer will state the charge to the worker for such meals is $16.28 per day per worker.
