We are seeking experienced Product Review Engineers (Liaison Engineers) to support factory operations in the Pacific Northwest. This role serves as the engineering representative on the production floor, working closely with manufacturing teams to resolve engineering issues and ensure aircraft components are built according to design intent and safety standards.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with production personnel, analyzing non-conformances, and making prompt engineering decisions to support aircraft manufacturing operations.
Analyze production non-conformances and develop engineering dispositions
Conduct root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Support resolution of product and process issues throughout the production lifecycle
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements
Represent engineering on the factory floor during aircraft build and post-production support
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and engineering design reviews
Develop and implement product and process improvements
Support damage repair analysis and structural modifications when required
Develop engineering documentation and correspondence related to product safety and operation
Support accident investigations and repair teams when required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (or equivalent)
9+ years of engineering experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with production teams in a manufacturing environment
Material Review Board (MRB) experience related to aircraft structures or systems
Experience working directly with aircraft manufacturing processes
Hands-on experience with materials and production processes
Prior MRB certification or liaison engineering experience
This role requires working in a factory environment, including:
Entering aircraft during multiple stages of production
Exposure to noise, stairs, trip hazards, and manufacturing equipment
Potential exposure to chemicals used in aircraft production
Selected candidates will participate in an approximately 9-month engineering training rotation, which may include:
Rotations across multiple shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd)
Weekend or overtime assignments
Travel between regional production sites
