My name is Avery, and I am a Recruiter with The Fountain Group. We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Manufacturing Planner for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in San Antonio, TX details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Description: 
  • Pay: $35.70-39.60 an hr  
  • 6 Month Assignment Possibility of Extension or Conversion based on performance and budget
  • Mon-Fri 8
  • The position will mainly be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining various manufacturing plans, Bills of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and documents as-built configuration.
  • Candidate will assist in the identification of tooling requirements and processing tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements.
  • Assist in the investigation and resolution of manufacturing related issues
  • Responsible for collecting data to support producibility assessments for part of product designs
  • Assist in developing work statements and sequencing of limited scope with internal business partners and in the review, maintenance, and monitoring of internal documents
  • Resolve technical problems that would significantly affect performance, cost, or schedule
  • Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate a producible definition and investigating alternative solutions to meet producibility requirement
  • Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio
  • Work under a lead to support timely delivery of engineering release and manufacturing deliverables
 
Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • 1+ years of experience in manufacturing or manufacturing support environment
  • 1+ year of experience applying professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues
  • Previous experience as an ME Preferred
  • Gold ESP Preferred
