We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to support assembly and installation operations in a high-volume production environment. This role focuses on improving manufacturing processes, supporting production teams, and ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality assembly execution.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working directly on the production floor.
Support assembly and installation processes for complex products
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes, work instructions, and procedures
Collaborate with production teams to resolve technical and process-related issues
Analyze production challenges and implement process improvements
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Support production readiness, tooling, and workflow optimization
Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturability feedback (DFM)
Monitor production performance and recommend efficiency improvements
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving assembly or installation issues
100% onsite in a manufacturing/production setting
Frequent interaction with mechanics, technicians, and operations teams
Hands-on support on the production floor
Bachelor's degree in:
Engineering / Engineering Technology
Manufacturing Engineering
Mechanical, Industrial, or related field
2+ years of experience in:
Manufacturing engineering
Production support
Assembly or installation processes
Ability to work onsite full-time
Experience in assembly line or production environments
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
Familiarity with tooling, fixtures, and production systems
Experience supporting design for manufacturability (DFM)
Aerospace or high-complexity manufacturing experience preferred
Must be a U.S. Person (export compliance)
Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
