We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support engineering and design initiatives at a major aerospace design center in Ridley Park, PA. This role supports the development and integration of complex systems across multiple aerospace and defense platforms including vertical lift systems, aircraft programs, satellites, and space systems.
The Systems Engineer will work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment supporting system architecture development, requirements analysis, and system lifecycle engineering activities.
Apply a collaborative, interdisciplinary systems engineering approach to support system analysis, design, development, and verification activities.
Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements.
Integrate technical parameters and ensure compatibility across physical, functional, and program interfaces.
Perform system architecture analyses to optimize system-of-systems performance.
Conduct analyses related to:
System affordability
Safety and reliability
Maintainability and testability
Human systems integration
Survivability and vulnerability
System security and regulatory compliance
Ensure system configurations meet mission requirements and program objectives.
Develop and support requirements management processes and tools.
Monitor and manage project risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness assessments.
Support lifecycle system engineering processes across development programs.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
5+ years of related systems engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in complex engineering environments
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Experience using MBSE tools such as Cameo or similar modeling platforms
Experience with DOORS or similar requirements management tools
