Title: Test and Evaluation Lab Technician 
Location: Berkeley, MO 
Salary Range: $30 Hr. to $32 On W2

Introduction

We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a Test & Evaluation Lab Technician. This role supports activities to plan, conduct, and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies. The ideal candidate will work under general supervision and have a strong background in electrical/electronic equipment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards
  • Minimum of 3 years working in an Engineering Lab Environment or comparable Military experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with Flight Simulation equipment
  • Minimum of 3 years experience maintaining computer hardware
  • Experience with Mil-Spec connector termination
  • Experience with Mil-Spec Fiber Optic termination and splicing
  • An Active US Secret Clearance

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining Flight Simulation equipment consisting of computers, monitors, audio systems, visual systems, crew stations, and rack equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electronic hardware issues with minimum downtime
  • Plans, conducts, and documents tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Designs, fabricates, builds, and analyzes test systems, materials, components, software, and methodologies
  • Coordinates test requirements, determines test methods, and capabilities
  • Conducts system test preparations by coordinating system integration, fabrication, modification, setup, checkout, and tear-down
  • Troubleshoots and resolves laboratory and test-related problems
  • Coordinates test laboratory activities and maintenance and repairs
  • Coaches and trains others
