6th Grade Math & Social Studies Teacher
Shining Rock Classical Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated 6th Grade Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year.
This position includes teaching three sections of 6th Grade Math and one section of 6th Grade Social Studies in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on academic excellence and character development.
Responsibilities
- Teach three sections of 6th Grade Math and one section of 6th Grade Social Studies.
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons based on the North Carolina Standard Course of Study.
- Create a positive and structured classroom environment that supports student success.
- Assess student learning and provide timely feedback.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in school activities, professional development, and team collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Education or a related field.
- Valid North Carolina teaching license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
- Passion for helping middle school students grow academically and personally.
- Commitment to collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning.
