The Turner School District is seeking applicants for a full-time 6th grade science and social studies teacher at Turner Middle School.

Important note for experienced educators: Professional Educators may be eligible for sick leave transfer. A maximum of 2 days per year for up to 10 years of experience (max 20 days) may be applied to an individual''s sick bank.

District:

The School District of Beloit Turner is a comprehensive PreK-12 district serving more than 1,650 students in south-central Wisconsin. We are known as a district of choice with more than 33% of our student body represented by students who open enroll into our highly desired district.

We are a small to midsize sub-urban/rural setting with 3 main campuses. Powers Elementary serves our early grades (EC and 4K-1st). Garden Prairie Intermediate School serves grades 2 through 5. Our middle school and high school have a shared main campus, including the district office, serving grades 6-8 in Turner Middle School and grades 9-12 in the Turner High School. Residency:

All professional educators who take up initial residency in the School District of Beloit Turner within five years of their hire date as a full-time employee shall be eligible for additional compensation of $2,000. Professional educators receiving compensation for moving into the District shall agree to maintain District residency for a minimum of four years or repay the District at a rate of $500 for each year they fail to remain in the District - a professional educator who leaves the District two years after receiving this incentive would owe the District $1,000.
