Additional Information: Show/Hide West Hartford Public Schools is seeking a long-term substitute in Technology & Engineering at Sedgwick Middle School from April through the end of the school year. With units in Construction, Transportation and Computer Science, candidates with technology and computer science experience are invited to apply.
Qualifications: Ideal applicants will hold or be eligible for a State of Connecticut Technology & Engineering teaching endorsement (047 Technology Education, PK-12). Primary responsibilities include:
• Planning engaging lessons and developing instructional materials and assessments • Creating a welcoming and structured classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate: • Will be prepared to teach any assigned Technology & Engineering unit from the program of studies • Will be a team player willing to work in a strong, collaborative environment • Will have strong technology skills in both Microsoft and the Google platform
