Position Opening Announcement: Food Service Assistant
7.0 Hr/Day Position
Districtwide/Based at Salish Coast Elementary

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Food Service Assistant perform a variety of duties in the serving of food and in maintaining sanitary conditions of dining and kitchen facilities. This position is subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, SEIU Local 925.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated basic performance skills in quantity food service. Have basic knowledge in the area of child nutrition. Able to read and follow instructions. Knowledge of cooking for large groups of people. Experience with fruit, veggie and meal prep is important. Should be free of any physical impairment that would prevent functioning on the job.

Salary Range: 2026-27 Salary Range: $22.50 - $27.95 per hour, depends on school district or comparable experience, and in accordance with the SEIU Bargaining Agreement.
