Pay Rate: $18.59 - $24.00/hr (No Overtime)

Position Overview

We are seeking an Emergency Communications Technician to support facility security and communications operations. Under direct supervision, the selected candidate will perform assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and detailed instructions while helping protect organizational personnel, facilities, and physical assets.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with military, security, dispatch, communications, emergency response, or public safety backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain security communications systems.

• Support emergency communications and incident response activities.

• Protect organizational physical assets by maintaining security of facility perimeters.

• Monitor exterior and interior facility access points.

• Receive, document, and relay emergency and non-emergency communications.

• Maintain accurate records, logs, and incident documentation.

• Follow established security procedures and operational protocols.

• Communicate effectively with security personnel, management, and emergency responders.

• Support facility safety and security initiatives.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Active Secret Security Clearance.

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and established procedures.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately during emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Military experience.

• Security operations experience.

• Dispatch or communications center experience.

• Emergency response or public safety experience.

• Experience maintaining logs, reports, and incident documentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
