Registered Nurse (RN)
Brunswick Pointe Transitional Care is currently seeking dedicated, compassionate, and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our growing team. As an RN, you will provide high-quality nursing care while leading and supporting nursing assistants to ensure every resident receives exceptional, person-centered care.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders, nursing standards, and facility policies.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Complete resident assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
- Accurately document assessments, medications, treatments, and resident progress.
- Supervise, mentor, and support STNAs and other nursing staff.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality resident care.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, HIPAA, OSHA, and resident rights regulations.
- Participate in admissions, discharges, transfers, and care conferences.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents, families, and visitors.
- Attend required education, in-services, and staff meetings.
- Perform additional nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
- CPR certification required.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.
- Must successfully complete all required background screenings.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift, transfer, reposition, and assist residents.
- Ability to safely lift up to 35 pounds independently and more with assistance.
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations.
