Duties

Description: Language Arts Teacher in a 600 student middle school. (Grade 7)

Applicant must be willing to:

• Work cooperatively with a team of grade 7 teachers to plan and provide a variety of literacy activities for middle school students with a focus on writing.
• Accommodate students with a variety of skills, abilities, and challenges.
• Communicate effectively with parents.
• Contribute to and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
• Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.

Qualifications

Appropriate certification and evidence of successful work with middle school age students.

Salary/Benefits

Based on HEA contract.
