Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and safety-conscious 8-K Telehandler Operator to join our dynamic team. This full-time position requires a skilled professional who demonstrates exceptional proficiency in operating telehandler equipment, with specialized expertise in loading and unloading steel materials. The ideal candidate will have between 2 to 10 years of hands-on experience operating telehandlers in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.

As an 8-K Telehandler Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our facility. This position demands precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest safety standards while working with heavy steel materials and operating sophisticated lifting equipment.

Primary Responsibilities

Telehandler Operation

• Operate 8,000-pound capacity telehandler equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company safety protocols
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of telehandler equipment, checking hydraulic systems, tires, forks, boom extension mechanisms, and all safety features
• Maneuver telehandler in confined spaces, around obstacles, and in various weather conditions while maintaining complete control of loads
• Utilize telescopic boom capabilities to reach elevated positions and extended distances with precision and accuracy
• Maintain proper load balance and weight distribution throughout all lifting and transport operations
• Document equipment hours, fuel consumption
