American Water is seeking SAP Application Lead to join its SAP Center of Excellence. This role will be the key focal point for day-to-day delivery issues and interact directly with executive clientele. The SAP application will oversee day-to-day run and maintain SAP delivery, manage SAP functional and technical resources, and provide key feedback and input to account leadership on growth strategies and continuous improvement. The position is also responsible for leading a large on-and-offshore team.
- 10+ years' experience with SAP Applications.
- Experience in leading the run and maintain environment for at-least 3 projects.
- Experience managing a team in an onshore / offshore model
- Experience in managing support for SAP and Echo system in the landscape from functional perspective.
- Experience in SAP IS-Utilities will be added advantage.
- Experience in managing the operations using proven SDLC models.
- Strong Demonstrable SAP Experience including full end-to-end project lifecycle in Gas, Electricity or Water implementations.
- A strong proven record of accomplishment in the field of SAP Utilities Solutions e.g. CRM/CCS, ISU Billing, EDM Invoicing, Device Management, FICA.
- Use solution manager and other tools to manage the SDLC.
- Validate and ensure detailed scope per deployment roadmap and ensure all integration points are addressed and overall solution integrity of the landscape
- Familiar with SLA framework and AMS day to day metrics.
- Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting or Business from an accredited institution or equivalent
- Minimum 6-8 years functional / Technical experience in SAP for utilities
- Minimum 3 years of leading Run and maintain functional team.
