8th Grade Math Teacher

Reports To: Building Principal

Compensation: Based on Master Contract.

Calendar: 185 Days

FLSA Status: Exempted Certified

Responsibilities

• Deliver appropriate instruction for Math
• Develop effective instructional strategies and assessments that focus on corporation expectations and state standards.
• Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth.
• There must be a commitment to being an instrumental part of an instructional team.

Qualifications:

• The preferred candidate must be licensed in Mathematics or willing to pursue alternative licensure
• The preferred candidate will have experience working with middle school students.
• The preferred candidate will have the skills to work collaboratively and cooperatively with the teachers and stakeholders.
