Duties

Teaches District approved curriculum daily.

Develops lesson plans and instructional material and provides individualized and small

group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil daily.

Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the

maturity and interests of the students.

Translates lesson plans into developmentally-appropriate learning experiences daily.

Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media, consistent with the

physical limitations of the location provided and the needs and capabilities of the

individuals or student groups involved.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree w/ state approved teacher preparation program

18 semester hours including a methods course

ILTS- Science content exam (203)

Salary/Benefits

Salary: 2026-2027 School Year

Step 1, Level 1 BA: $52,268

Step 1, Level 6 MA: $56,074

Step 1, Level 9 MA+24: $58,098
