Intermediate District 287 is looking for an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year.

Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12 as well as transition age students 18-22 years old from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs primarily focused on setting IV special education that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Position Details

Provide occupational therapy services that include improving, developing, or restoring skills which will enable students to move toward independent functioning regarding physical, mental, emotional, and educational goals.

Support students in their least restrictive educational setting.

Support staff in evaluation, program planning, and environmental issues.

Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A 48819 - 96833 depending on experience and education.

Requirements

Interested in candidates who are diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.

Masters degree in occupational therapy from an accredited college or university.

Licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health as an occupational therapist.

National Board of Certified Occupational Therapist (NBCOT) designation.

Previous experience fieldwork or internship in Pediatric or Developmental Occupational Therapy preferred.
