A thriving Pharmaceutical company is seeking Research Scientist to specialize in Bioassay Development. This candidate will get to participate in the development and qualification of a variety of assays and will be given independence within the lab. The company is rapidly expanding which will allow for opportunity for advancement down the line. Preferred candidates will have the desire to learn and grow within the team.
Candidates will be Responsible for:- Develop, optimize, and validate cell-based analytical test methods
- Perform analytical techniques including: ELISA, SDS Page, Western Blot, & HPLC
- Write and review SOP’s & Method Development/ Validation Protocols
- Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation when needed
- Study cell line development, conduct mammalian cell culturing, & work with hands-on protein expression, purification, and characterization
- Responsible for summarizing, reviewing, & documenting research data
Preferred Qualifications of Candidates:- MS in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related science
- Proficiency working with wide range of analytical techniques (ELISA, SDS Page, Electrophoresis, HPLC)
- 0-5 years of industry experience
- Experience working in a GMP environment preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
