Job Description: The IT Organizational Change Management contractor will work with the appropriate Exelon Organizational Change Management Leads, and other business stakeholders to ensure effective organizational change management strategies are utilized to help employees transition from the current state to the desired future state, based on project goals. The IT Organizational Change Management contractor will develop and deliver tactical deliverables in fulfilment of stakeholder engagement, communication, training and other organizational change management plans and activities as assigned. Additionally, will work closely with key Creative Arts, Media, and Strategic Communications team members.
The Training Development Specialist Lead will ensure all stakeholders in the organization are fully informed, educated and trained on the relevant services, processes, policies, technologies and data needs. The Specialist will have heavy input on training strategies that will impact employees, users, and stakeholders of the services. The Specialist will be responsible for building training material and tracking compliance to curriculum requirements and driving strategy, technology, and process improvements that will increase organizational capability through training and knowledge sharing.
- The training development specialist Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities:
o Manage the training and performance support needs analysis, design, build, and delivery efforts across the IT organization. Coordinate training SMEs and support the content creation for project training.
o Partner with SMEs, Business Clients, and application vendors to build new training content and/or update existing materials.
o Design, plan, and implement policies, procedures and management metrics to control and monitor training performance and effectiveness.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of training and performance support materials. Continuously improve training and performance support materials as needed.
o Provide customized training in accordance with the project needs
o Communicate and interact effectively with team members; develop credibility and trusted mutually respected relationships with customers, project managers, and team members.
o Interact and interface with customers, vendors, service providers, and other third parties as applicable in relation to the activities and dependencies of the role.
o Provide advice on training content and delivery (e.g. for course reviews/proposals)
o Have an interactive training delivery style incorporating adult learning techniques
o Demonstrate specialist knowledge in assigned curricula areas
o Contribute to service quality and value-add initiatives as required

- Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
o 5+ years of experience in training and performance strategy definition and implementation
o Training and performance support design
o Training and performance support development
o Business writing
o Stakeholder management
o Capability and skills assessment
o Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
o Captivate, Adobe suite, video scribe, PonToon, or similar training build programs
o Written, verbal and visual communication
o Building strong visual presentations
o Ability to analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative information
Position Requirements: Leverage knowledge from surveys, observation, and other inputs to create organization-wide reports on change initiatives, including corporate culture, employee engagement, end user adoption and change sustainability.
Develop and deliver change management strategies and activities that inform, engage, and persuade employees and support overall organizational change initiatives.
Apply the OCM Methodology and leverage standard tools and templates when developing OCM deliverables to meet IT standards and deliver quality products and services.
Design, develop and deliver visually appealing graphic content to achieve change and communication strategies and objectives.
