You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships.xe2x80xafThis involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.xe2x80xaf

This position floats to various units within the UCLA Health system based on the patient census and the skills of the RN/staff. Hospital locations include but are not limited to the following:

Salary range: $116.66-$116.66 Hourly

Wexe2x80x99re seeking a highly skilled, self-motivated nursing professional with:xe2x80xaf

• Current California RN license,xe2x80xafrequiredxe2x80xaf
• BSN or MSN degree,xe2x80xafrequiredxe2x80xaf
• 3 years ofxe2x80xafPICU, NICU, Pediatric RN experiencexe2x80xafor 2 years of UCLA Health PICU, NICU, Pediatric RN, required
• Travel or extensive PICU, NICU, Pediatric RN experience in an acute hospital setting, preferred
• BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association,xe2x80xafrequiredxe2x80xaf
• PALS from the American Heart Association,xe2x80xafrequiredxe2x80xaf
• NRP certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics and American Heart Association,xe2x80xafpreferred
• National Certification, preferred
• Skill in implementing appropriate nursing interventions on a consistent basisxe2x80xaf
• Ability to perform historical, physical and behavioral patient assessmentsxe2x80xaf
• Ability to develop and implement and evaluate patient care plan actively involving patients, family, and staffxe2x80xaf
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting-edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must
• Official Transcripts and/or original diploma from a registered nursing program must be provided upon hire
