Primary Purpose:
Provide leadership and oversight for the district's Career and Technical Education (CTE) program while delivering high-quality classroom instruction in assigned CTE courses. Ensure compliance with federal and state requirements, promote continuous program improvement, and prepare students for postsecondary education, industry certification, and workforce success.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
Bachelor's degree
Valid CTE teaching certificate
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of federal and state laws governing the CTE program
Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional best practices
Ability to interpret and analyze student performance and program data
Ability to manage budgets and oversee program compliance
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to supervise staff while maintaining classroom effectiveness.
Experience:
CTE teaching experience required (3 years preferred)
Experience in program leadership, coordination, or supervision preferred
