A-Level Automotive Technician

Legacy Automotive in Boulder is looking for an experienced A-Level Automotive Technician / Diagnostic Technician to join our team.

This position is for a technician who is comfortable handling advanced diagnostics as well as major mechanical repair. We are looking for someone who can take a vehicle from the initial customer concern through diagnosis, testing, repair, and verification without relying on parts swapping.

Our A-Level Technician will diagnose and repair a wide variety of domestic, Asian, and European vehicles, including gasoline, diesel, hybrid, and electric vehicles. Typical work includes drivability and check-engine-light diagnosis, electrical and network diagnosis, engine and cooling-system repair, steering and suspension, brakes, HVAC, starting and charging systems, and other general automotive repairs.

Legacy Automotive is a modern, well-equipped independent repair shop. We provide access to factory-level diagnostic equipment for GM, Ford, Stellantis/FCA, Toyota, Nissan, and Honda, along with specialty diagnostic equipment. We are also equipped for hybrid and EV repair, including high-voltage safety equipment, an EV battery lift, and EV diagnostic tools.

Our shop is fully digital and uses Shop-Ware for repair orders, inspections, estimates, and communication. Technicians have access to company-supplied digital equipment and the information needed to diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently.
