Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $24.96/hour base plus bonus
Pay Type: Hourly + Flat Bonus and profit sharing
Pay Schedule: Weekly
Earning Potential: $52,000-$100,000 annually

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced A or B Level Automotive Technician to join a busy independent repair shop in Gonzales, Louisiana. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician with strong diagnostic skills who enjoys heavy-line repairs and wants to grow with a well-established team. You'll earn a weekly paycheck with a base hourly rate plus bonus opportunities while working a Monday through Friday schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and heavy-line automotive repairs.
• Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, and air conditioning systems.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Document repairs and inspections using Tekmetric shop management software.
• Work closely with the service team to communicate repair recommendations.
• Maintain an organized, professional, and safe work environment.
• Stay current with industry training and ASE certification requirements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional automotive repair experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Experience performing heavy-line repairs.
• Strong knowledge of automotive electrical and A/C systems.
• ASE certifications required.
• Professional, organized, and dependable work habits.
• Comfortable using computer systems and digital shop software.
