A/R Collections Specialist

Location: Camarillo, CA (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration: Temp, 5-6 months (possible extension/long-term)
Pay Rate: $25/hour

A well-established organization is seeking an AR Collections Specialist to support the Accounts Receivable team during a transitional period. This role requires hands-on collections experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage past-due accounts in a professional and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Review open AR balances and follow up on past-due invoices
• Perform outbound collections calls while maintaining positive customer relationships
• Send written correspondence to encourage timely payment
• Identify root causes of delinquencies and communicate findings to management
• Assist in improving collection processes and reducing overall receivables
• Maintain accurate documentation and notes related to customer accounts

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable and collections experience
• Strong collections, follow-up, and customer service skills
• Strong Excel skills required
• ERP experience a plus (not required)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel

Additional Notes

• This is a true temp position to start, though previous similar roles have converted to longer-term assignments
• Onsite availability is required (no remote option)
