A1C Quality Control Technician - Responsible for performing laboratory testing, calibration, and quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of diagnostic products. The ideal candidate has a strong laboratory background, excellent analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest quality standards. Pay rate & Scheduled:
  • $24.50/Hour
  • 1st shift: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
  • Perform A1C quality calibration testing and value assignments.
  • Must have an Associate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
  • Must have equivalent hands-on laboratory experience may be considered.
  • Conduct Total Hemoglobin (Hb) testing, A1C whole blood calibration, temperature calibration, accuracy and bias testing, and initial lot release testing for Pilot, ICA, and finished products.
  • Analyze laboratory data and accurately document test results.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure proper calibration.
  • Prepare whole blood samples and manage laboratory inventory.
  • Follow ISO, GMP (QSR), OSHA, and company quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Research & Development teams.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to complete reports and maintain documentation.
  • Laboratory or Quality Control experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis and experimental design.
  • Experience with In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) products.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
