Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Saturday PET rotation included | On-call rotation every 4th week (Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities- Operate nuclear medicine equipment and all related instrumentation in both acute care hospital and outpatient clinical settings.
- Make appropriate imaging decisions regarding technique, positioning, and radiation protection.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals under the direction of a supervising Radiologist, documenting appropriately and maintaining awareness of potential adverse reactions.
- Practice sterile technique and implement measures to prevent cross contamination.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including proper labeling of images for interpretation.
- Rotate within the department as needed to support operational requirements across locations.
Required Qualifications- Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine program.
- ARRT (N) and/or NMTCB registration required.
- Current Ohio Department of Health (ODH) licensure required.
- CPR certification through the American Heart Association.
- Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum 1 year of PET/CT experience, or eligibility for PET/CT advanced registry.
- PET/CT advanced certification strongly preferred.
