Job Title: Systems Administrator (Linux & Windows Server)

Position Overview

Take ownership of critical enterprise infrastructure by upgrading, integrating, and maintaining Linux, Windows Server, storage, and virtualization environments. This hands-on role focuses on keeping systems stable, secure, and ready for production while supporting major infrastructure initiatives.

What You'll Do

• Deploy, configure, and maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu, CentOS, or RHEL).

• Execute foundational data migration and prepare designated shares for validation.

• Integrate newly installed enterprise storage hardware into the core network.

• Complete physical installation of new Hyper-V infrastructure.

• Configure storage clusters and Hyper-V compute environments for production workloads.

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and user permissions.

• Manage enterprise storage, backups, data integrity, and capacity planning.

• Perform hardware audits, software patching, and system updates.

• Troubleshoot complex system failures and conduct root cause analysis.

• Maintain technical documentation, disaster recovery plans, and system procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Mid-level experience administering Linux servers using command-line tools.

• Experience with shell scripting using Bash or Python.

• Proven ability to manage Windows Server alongside Linux environments.

• Familiarity with SAN/NAS, RAID, and enterprise backup solutions.

• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall fundamentals.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple infrastructure projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA Linux+, RHCSA, or Microsoft Windows Server certification.

• Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM virtualization.

• Experience supporting high-availability environments.
