Job Summary

The West Contra Costa Unified School District is seeking an experienced and equity-focused leader to serve as Executive Director of TK-12 Schools (Elementary/Secondary). Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer/Associate Superintendent, the Executive Director supports and supervises school principals, oversees instructional programs, and promotes high levels of student achievement across assigned schools. Responsibilities include instructional leadership, school improvement planning, principal development, data-driven decision-making, community engagement, and ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal requirements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative and strategic leader committed to educational excellence, equity, and continuous improvement.
