We are seeking an Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and support ETL and data integration solutions for enterprise data initiatives. This role will work with cross-functional teams to build scalable data workflows and deliver reliable analytics solutions in an Agile environment. THIS ROLE REQUIRES ONSITE DAYS!

Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Ab Initio-based ETL solutions to support enterprise data integration and analytics initiatives.
  • Build and optimize data processing workflows, including data extraction, transformation, loading, mining, and batch processing for large-scale data marts.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and reporting teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Create technical design documentation, implement application code, conduct unit testing, and support software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards and Agile delivery practices.
  • Monitor project progress, troubleshoot production and development issues, manage defects and risks, and ensure successful deployment and ongoing support of ETL infrastructure.

Profile

  • Strong hands-on experience with Ab Initio development and core components such as Rollup, Scan, Join, Gather, Merge, Lookup, and Partitioning techniques.
  • Proven expertise in ETL design and development, including mapping specifications, high-level and low-level design documentation, coding, and unit testing.
  • Advanced SQL and database programming skills, including performance tuning, relational database analysis, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Experience developing UNIX shell scripts and working with Oracle SQL/PL-SQL in enterprise data environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and exposure to additional ETL tools such as Informatica, Pentaho, or DataStage.
