ABA Therapist / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Feeding Program
The Healthy Beginnings (HB) Therapist position at the Verbal Beginnings Center involves both case management and clinical responsibilities. The clinical responsibilities of the HB Therapist are the same as other levels of therapists, but it is expected that a HB Therapist have a higher proficiency in the execution of these responsibilities and act as a model therapist for all Therapists throughout the organization. The HB Therapist’s primary responsibility is the execution of 1:1 therapeutic services for clients within the Healthy Beginnings program. This position may also be assigned case management responsibilities.

Provide 1:1 services for clients within team
Implement ITT and NET programming related to mealtime behavior goals
Requirement for billable hours is 30 per week
Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
Ensure preparedness for sessions which includes having the proper therapeutic program materials, a positive attitude, and a meaningful understanding of programs to be run for the day.
Collect data to track client progress on individualized goals.
Ensure that the client is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
Collaborate with other team members regarding tasks vital to the daily functioning of the HB department.
This includes, but is not limited to cleaning and stocking the unit.
Timely completion of all assigned duties including by not limited to conversion of sessions in Central Reach.
Follows the policies and procedures of Verbal Beginnings, LLC.

Successful completion of Safety Care training and Re-Certifications, which includes carrying children per Safety Care training. Active participation in Safety Care is a condition of employment.
