The Registered Nurse at Aging Services Adult Day Health Centers will oversee all nursing services as well as ensuring compliance with governing entities within the nursing role.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing assessments and interventions

In conjunction with the participant, caregiver, and case manager the Individual Treatment Plan

Coordinate needed medical services

Provide education to center staff, participants and caregivers on health issues.

Supervise clinical students.

Assist with staff development through in-services trainings.

Maintains accountability in compliance with regulations in clinical records.

Qualifications

Graduate of accredited nursing program, required

Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa, required

Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.

Iowa Drivers License, required
