    Description

    Overview:

    A warm, wonderful family in the Presidio Heights neighborhood of San Francisco, CA, is seeking an experienced, collaborative full-time nanny to support their school-aged children, two girls ages 5.5 and 2.5, and an infant. Mom is hands-on and stay-at-home, and the nanny is not expected to care for three children at once. This role is ideal for a professional nanny who is confident with both babies and older children, values teamwork with parents, and brings a calm, flexible approach to childcare. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 10am to 6pm, with flexibility; an alternate schedule option is 12pm to 8pm. This position is open to local candidates only

    Responsibilities:

    Include, but are not limited to:

    • All aspects of full-charge care for an infant and support for school-aged children
    • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
    • Meal plan/prep and feeding
    • Child-related housekeeping, laundry, organization, toy sanitation, and general tidying of children’s areas and belongings, including school backpacks
    • Washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts
    • Neighborhood driving for outings and activities; strong, experienced driver required
    • Playground supervision and age-appropriate engagement, including educational play
    • Pack/unpack for travel
    • Travel domestically and internationally for up to one month
    • Provide a warm, structured, and nurturing environment
    • Lead by example
    • Provide individual care for each child and assist with reaching milestones
    • Maintain open communication with parents regarding the children’s activities, behavior, and development
    Qualifications:
    • Collaborative, flexible, and respectful of parental preferences
    • Trustworthy, dependable, and discreet
    • Intuitive with good judgment
    • Comfortable offering thoughtful suggestions while also taking feedback well, not personally
    • Communicative and adaptable
    • Truly loves children and being a part of their growth and development
    • Ability to speak another language or play a musical instrument would be a plus
    • Polished and professional
    Requirements:
    • Trustline Certified
    • CPR/First Aid certified
    • Valid driver’s license and exceptional driving record
    • Up-to-date vaccinations for Covid, Flu, and Dtap
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods
    • Valid passport
    • Prior experience in a similar role with infants and school-aged children
    • A background in EAC or Montessori is strongly preferred
    • Legal to work in the U.S.
    Salary and Benefits:

    The family is offering $55+/hr, PTO, and a negotiable medical stipend
