Description

This is an ongoing, as-needed post to create a pool of applicants. As department needs are identified, this pool will be reviewed periodically to obtain potential candidates.

The Purpose

Sustain teaching performance in ACA College Transfer Success This load will include blended, hybrid, and online courses. This part-time position may be on either the Transylvania or Henderson County Campuses.

Examples of Duties

What Youll be Doing

• Maintain mastery and currency in the credentialed field.
• Participate in faculty training.
• Perform record-keeping functions in the areas of attendance and student performance in an accurate and timely manner.
• Insure compliance and confidentiality with all policies and procedures of the College, NC Community College System, and applicable State and Federal agencies.
• As assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Master's Degree from an Accredited four-year institution.

Experience

All applicants must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a workplace setting or demonstrated instructional/teaching environment.

Skills and the Know-How

Possess strong personal and professional integrity, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, Content Management Systems (CMS), College email and website, and web-based computer applications associated with the position.

Physical Demands

The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
