FLSA: Exempt Temporary/Continuing: Continuing Part-Time/Full-Time: Full-Time Union Group: Ferris Faculty Association (MEA-NEA) Term of Position: 12 Month At Will/Just Cause: At Will Summary of Position: This position, located on the Big Rapids campus, will serve as the primary contact for prospective and enrolled students in the College of Health Professions, including online and on-campus undergraduate programs. Assisting students with program requirements, program planning, processing course substitutions, and maintaining accurate student records are the primary responsibilities of this position. Attending recruiting events and scheduling/attending other student informational sessions to answer program questions and increase student enrollments will also be required, primarily within Michigan. Ability to work evenings and /or some weekends to meet the needs of students. Travel is required.
The anticipated start date of this position is June 2026. However, this is an estimated date and can be revised if needed. Position Type: Faculty - Temporary & Continuing Required Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in a related field. Additional Education/Experiences to be Considered: Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Provide academic advising, which includes assisting students in the development of academic plans and course schedules, advising on academic program changes, and meeting with prospective students and their families.
