Boston University's Kilachand Honors College invites applications for a full-time Academic Advisor position. Kilachand Honors College Academic Advisors are a resource for Kilachand Honors College students regarding policies, resources, and academic requirements of the Honors College, the BU Hub, and Boston University. Academic Advisors help students to identify and integrate their strengths and interests to craft coherent and fulfilling academic plans. Kilachand Academic Advisors manage student groups, may sit on university-wide committees, and serve as the point-of-contact for specific initiatives within Kilachand Honors College. Academic advisors are integrally involved in the Kilachand Honors College living learning community. This Kilachand Academic Advisor will work with students across all academic years within Kilachand Honors College. They will work collaboratively with the Advising Team and will manage the Peer Mentor Program, a student leadership and engagement initiative. We strongly encourage candidates from historically marginalized groups to apply. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.



Required Skills
