Major/Essential Functions

Maintain student files, process, and/or authorize documentation (such as dashboard requests, hour overload requests, college transfers, program changes, last 30-hour approvals, second degree requests, concurrent enrollment, and graduate courses for undergraduate credit), and communicate with engineering advisors or other stakeholders on their requests’ progress as needed.

Coordinate with the Assistant Director of Academics, Associate Dean for UG, Dean’s Office Assistant Director-Advising, and the Registrar’s office assigned contact each semester to manage engineering foundational course scheduling, offerings, and room assignments.
  • Assist in analyzing student data and reports focused on new or ongoing initiatives as requested by the Assistant Director of Academics and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.
  • Assist in the coordination of the engineering graduation/commencement
  • Prepare student data for various graduation needs
  • Event logistics and execution
  • Family invitation letters and diploma distribution
  • Communication with students and other stakeholders
  • Assist in notifying faculty in cases where the Dean of Students Office reports health or other issues with a student.
  • Assist with appropriate communication with students, faculty, etc. and documentation gathering to resolve referrals for student cases.
Other required job duties deemed by the Assistant Director of Academics and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies.
