Salary: Starting at $45,000 per year

Based on Teacher Years' Experience and Degree Level - Indiana Agriculture & Technology School (Certified Salary Position)

Contract Length: 12-Month Agreement

Charter School Licensure

Candidates may qualify for an instructional license valid for teaching in charter schools only if they hold current CPR certification, complete suicide prevention training, and meet one of the following criteria:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with an overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale with the major of the earned degree in the content area in which the candidate wants to teach;

OR

  • Hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and pass the appropriate licensure exam in the content area the candidate wishes to teach.

JOB GOAL

The Academic Educator - Math and/or English Language Arts is responsible for delivering high-quality, standards-aligned mathematics and/or ELA instruction to students in grades 7-12 within an individualized, competency-based learning environment.

The educator will guide students in mastering mathematical concepts at their own pace while using data-driven practices to inform instruction.

The position emphasizes critical thinking, problem-solving, and real-world application of mathematical skills while building strong relationships that support student success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

IDOE Licensure in Math and/or ELA-Grades- 7-12

or
