Job Opportunity: Hematologist/Oncologist Faculty Position

Our organization is actively seeking a full-time Hematologist and/or Oncologist to join our faculty team. We are in search of a dedicated physician who is passionate about serving an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved community within a vibrant and supportive academic environment. The hospital is conveniently located and accessible via public transportation and car from various regions, including New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy infusions and conduct consultations.
  • Engage in teaching residents and medical students.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Manage hematological malignancies and coagulation disorders.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • MD degree is required.
  • Board certified or board eligible in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Possession of a valid New York State License, DEA, and Medicaid number.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be involved in both Hematology and Oncology, delivering direct clinical care to patients under the Department of Medicine's Hematology and Oncology Services.

Our compensation package is highly competitive and includes continuing medical education (CME) opportunities. The salary range is between $342,000 and $367,000 annually, which encompasses on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
